Florida, the “Sunhine States” is more than a City with a big mouse! Sitting between the Caribbean and Atlantic Florida offers you over 1200 miles of coastal playground. From bronzing on golden sands to sitting on the dock in Cedar Key with a cold one! You are never far from the ocean in Florida!
Of course move inland and you are now landing upon the World of Disney, Universal Studios, Sea World and the many new parks such as Legoland which have sprung up around Orlando. Of course, we’d be silly to forget to mention world class shopping in the Mall on Millenia, Premium Outlets, and the massive Florida Mall.
Then again if it’s shopping you are after – Miami is home to Sawgrass Mills and a multitude of not so mini malls in Fort Lauderdale, and the Miami suburbs. South Beach on the Miami shoreline simply buzzes. Buildings with real character will consume your eyes, harking back to a bygone era but adding real charm to this sublime city. Does Miami have it all? Fantastic beaches, turquoise waters, a city with a pulse, amazing attractions such as the Everglades close by, fantastic eateries and the Florida Keys on it’s doorstep! Well go explore and you’ll find out for yourself.
Getting to Orlando is straight forward, Aer Lingus offer a number of flights each week direct from Dublin. Or you can choose from a burst of airlines – United via their Washington and Newark hubs, American via Chicago, JFK, Philadelphia and Charlotte, British Airways via London and Virgin via London to name but a few.
